Job description
Exclusive client expanding its operations in Ipswich. You will be responsible to supervise, plan and coordinate the Accounts department and operational activities and to be responsible for all aspects of work pertaining to accounts at Ipswich. accounting activities. Duties: finalisation of accounts; monitor and review invoices, accounts and procedures of recording funds; monitor all financial reports from the general and subsidiary ledgers, assist in reconciliation and production of management reports; establish and maintain a working environment conducive to a positive morale, individual style, quality, creativity and teamwork; supervise data control operations including the approval of documents and batch processing control, implement modifications to improve systems, participate in the development and testing of new systems; participate in the development and administration of the budget, monitoring of and checking expenditures, recommend adjustments as necessary; coordinate accounting activities with those of other departments; select, train, motivate and evaluate personnel, provide or coordinate staff training, work with employees to correct deficiencies, implement disciplinary procedures; prepare and present management and staff reports and other necessary correspondence; coordinate and follow up IT issues; address compliance issues; any other reasonable duties Management may require to be undertaken from time to time. The successful candidate will ideally be qualified with experience in Financial Services due to subsidiary activities. Immediate start available.
