Job description

My client, a forward-thinking business in Hull turning over £1m to £2m per annum, is seeking to appoint an experienced and level-headed Finance Manager as they enter their next phase of development. With plans to double turnover in the next 12 months, the successful applicant will work directly for the Directors of the organisation. Day-to-day duties include: managing the companies operational finances; assisting with financial planning; producing clear budgetary planning, providing and interpreting financial information; developing financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk; developing external relationships with appropriate contacts and managing the Finance functions of the company. Experience required: extensive experience of having been fully responsible for the Finance function of a small or medium sized Enterprise is essential; strong commercial skills, with experience of a multi-contract environment; robust and level headed, with the ability to manage external relations. Applications from qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience candidates will be considered. Previous experience of Sage Line 50 is advantageous, but not essential.
