Job description
Our client is an established Manufacturing business based in Leicestershire with a strong brand and prestigious customer base. Following an internal promotion a new opportunity has been created for a Finance Manager to join the Leicestershire operation. Supporting the FD and General Manager, your key responsibilities will include: to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, half yearly and annual financial information that meets the information needs of the Management team; review and interpret the sales/production plans to formulate the financial aspects of the budget in order to accurately represent the business unit objectives; to manage the provision of local management information and analysis to assist local management with improved decision-making; develop & interpret all aspects of job costing ensuring accuracy of information and evaluation of margin against sales by individual order and customer. The candidate: a high calibre qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a proven track record within manufacturing environments; an in-depth understanding of stock valuation, costing and working capital management are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively and be motivated to make a difference, add value and drive through change in a fast-paced, challenging environment. The company: market leading East Midlands organisation offering long-term career progression opportunities. Salary and benefits: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum plus car allowance and benefits.
