Job description

The Diocese of Lichfield is one of the oldest and largest of the Church of England’s 43 Dioceses, serving a population of around 2 million people in the Northwest Midlands. The organisation has an annual expenditure budget in excess of £16m and total assets exceeding £68m.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their financial, management and strategic skills to actively contribute to this busy department. The organisation needs a finance professional to take on an important position within their Management team.

Leading a Finance team, assisting the FD and working closely with the Parishes, you will be capable of dealing professionally and sympathetically with all levels of people from senior clergy to volunteer church officials.

To be successful you need to hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIPFA), possess excellent communication skills as well as a sound knowledge in charity financial issues.
