Job description
An opportunity has come about in South West London for an experienced Commissioning Finance Manager to assist one of London’s PCTs with their Acute Commissioning. Responsibilities will include: providing support to acute commissioning, collating and analysing the returns received from the trust providing services to the PCT in the form of SLAM returns. You will then be responsible for ascertaining and reporting the financial position in order to reconcile this to the contract management system. You will have been responsible for reporting on the Finances for the commissioning within a trust and have worked on Payment by Results and SUS. Solid systems skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people at different levels are important. Appropriate candidates will have previous experience working within Acute Commissioning in a Primary Care Trust in London and be immediately available.
