Finance Manager (Finance Director designate) Publishing
Dancing Times Ltd is the publisher of the UK’s 2 premier Dance magazines – Dancing Times and Dance Today. Due to recent changes we are now looking for a new Finance Manager with the potential to become Finance Director within 1-2 years. As a small publishing company this will require a very ‘hands-on’ Accountant comfortable with the full range of accounting duties from raising invoices & banking the cheques through monthly management accounts to working with the Creative Director and the Board on the strategic direction of the company. The role will also include being responsible for HR and the external IT support as well as any health and safety issues.
As this is a small company we will consider a Finalist or a candidate qualified by extensive experience.
Critical to the role will be the ability to maintain a good working relationship with all staff, suppliers, contributors and customers.
Any Publishing or Charity sector experience will be an advantage although good business acumen is also required to take the company forward.
