Job description
Our client, one of the UK’s leading Banking Groups with a world-renowned profile, is looking for a Finance Manager to join its Group Consolidations and External Reporting team. The role is responsible for the analysis and understanding of complex financial information collected by Group from all its subsidiaries for external disclosure. You will work closely with Group Accounting policies to ensure they understand the technical accounting requirements behind each piece of data collected. You will then be expected to analytically review the data sent in by reporting sites then be able to summarise the information in a succinct manner to senior management. You will be an appointed ‘Business Partner’ to a prescribed overseas financial reporting team. Applications are sought from qualified Accountants with significant Financial Services experience. A strong knowledge of IFRS is essential ideally coupled with experience of complex consolidations. An ability to lead and work with a small team of qualified professionals, particularly in a pressurised and deadline driven environment will be required.
