Job description
This multinational blue chip business based in the Wimbledon/Kingston area is looking to recruit for a Finance Manager job. The client requires a self-sufficient and experience Finance Manager with strong exposure to hands-on management reporting. Key responsibilities: manage the production of management reporting packs for 4-6 regions; review content and ensure accuracy & sensibility; review and explain variances to budget/forecast and prior monthly results; review and manage regional balance sheets (including prepayments, accruals and debt provisions); coordinate the checking and auditing of headcount, payroll reports & cost allocations; manage non-regional/central balance sheet accounts including accruals & prepayments; assist and provide support to CFAs on budgets/forecasts, regular regional data analysis and ad hoc reporting and analysis projects; ad hoc work as requested by UK FC; identify process improvements including reducing commission exceptions; review commissions reporting & identify risks/opportunities for business; supervision of 3-4 and potentially a further 2-3 indirectly. Background/skills required: qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA; experience within a multinational business; hand-on experience of preparation of management accounts, budgets and forecasts; advanced Excel and highly analytical; self-sufficient/decisive and not afraid to challenge.
