Job description
Financial Accountant £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits Maidenhead. Our client one of the leading businesses in the Thames Valley require a Financial Accountant to manage a team of 5 (2 remote reports) and provide timely and accurate Management reporting as well and getting involved in a number of high profile projects. Key responsibilities include: lead the Management reporting to ensure all submissions are submitted accurately and on time; analysis of reporting line items to Business Units; liaison with Corporate & BU Finance to ensure accurate reporting and resolution of queries; development and improvement of the management reporting month end reporting pack; business Plan and Updates Process management; ensuring that all processes are SOX compliant, assisting with SOX audits; to ensure the integration of projects resulting from Business changes and SAP roll-out into the Management reporting; to assist with the management of the month/quarter/year end financial close process; assisting with Ad Hoc projects or tasks when required. The successful candidate will ideally be a qualified accountant with a strong academic history, coupled with developed technical skills and commercial awareness. The ability to lead and motivate a team is essential as is the ability to communicate at all levels. This is an excellent entry point into a successful business with opportunities to develop and progress.
