Job description
A Finance Manager is required in Manchester by my client, a dynamic Manufacturing organisation, which is going through significant organisational change. This is a multifaceted role involving gaining a detailed understanding the factory environment and driving process improvement of financial and operational processes in line with the contracts won and currently being won. In addition, there is the opportunity to play a critical role in upgrading and further implementation of the current ERP platform. You will also play a key role in the tendering process and gain valuable commercial and strategic experience. As it is a newly created role there is flexibility to get involved in other areas you’re interested in and develop yourself rapidly. You will have management accounting, costing and ERP system experience in a manufacturing/factory environment as well as the ability to demonstrate evidence of process improvement and analysis in previous roles within a manufacturing environment. You must be competent financially and have commercial acumen. This is best suited to someone with a strong/robust character who is able to liaise well on the shop floor as well as at board level.
