Job description
This is a commercial role with a leading Charity as a Business Finance Manager. Established by Mencap in 1998, Golden Lane Housing now has a portfolio of around 700 high quality properties in England and Wales, providing homes to 1,000 people with learning disabilities. Our objective is to increase the number of homes we can offer, and to achieve this we need to operate successfully in a very competitive environment. You will provide crucial support to our strategy, and will draw on both your accounting expertise as well as your general business acumen. Reporting to the Strategic Finance Manager, key duties will be: leading, motivating and supporting the Finance team; production of the annual budget and five year plan in liaison with operational colleagues, and providing them with ongoing support; year end statutory financial statements and liaison with Auditors; review of tenders, projects and pricing models; maintaining and developing management information reports for effective cash flow management and financial control. You will be a CCAB qualified Accountant who has proven success in a commercial accounting role with a medium-sized enterprise or Not-for-Profit organisation.
