Job description

Finance Manager is required by this sizeable housing association. This is a pivotal role and will involve deputising for the Finance Director in leading and developing the Finance team. Key accountabilities with the team include: the production of monthly management accounts, budget and forecast preparation, tax and VAT preparation, fixed asset register maintenance and some treasury management. The ideal applicant will be CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified (or equivalent) or suitably qualified by experience and have prior experience in a similar all-round role. A track record in staff development and people management is essential as the role will involve supervising a small accounts team. Applicants will ideally have worked within the Housing sector and experience of managing rent restructuring, together with excellent communication skills as the role will also involve working closely with non-Finance teams.
