Job description
My client, a leading membership organisation, with a turnover in excess of £100m is recruiting for the position of EMEA Finance Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for an ACA/CIMA or ACCA qualified Accountant to take the next step in their career. Areas of responsibility will include: preparation and review of local statutory accounts; preparing monthly management accounts for the EMEA region including variances and commentaries; providing support to the Heads of Departments in understanding expenditure and revenues through regular meetings; fixed asset accounting; overseeing A/P and A/R and approving invoices for payment; review of internal controls, recommending and improvements relating to accounting procedures and internal controls; involvement with implementing Sarbanes-Oxley procedures. Requirements: ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified; previous experience in the production of statutory accounts and monthly management accounts; staff supervision; previous experience/exposure to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance within a previous role; advanced Excel; previous experience of Peoplesoft is beneficial but not essential.
