Job description
Our client, based in Newport, Gwent, is looking for a qualified Finance Manager to join its team. Reporting to, and supporting the FD, you'll be responsible for: full P&L reporting - weekly, monthly, forecast, plan and budget; preparation of KPI reports; produce reporting packs - monthly, plan and budget; budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis of variable cost of sales to drive continuous business performance improvement and understanding of cost drivers in site Management team; preparation of the quarterly duty claim; preparation of the month end accounts, including maintaining financial data & transactions; balance sheet reconciliations; suggest and investigate ways to automate/simplify financial processes making full use of current and future technology; other duties as necessary. You are qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), have strong business & commercial awareness, have a proven track record of achievement are a confident communicator and able to present information in a concise and articulate manner. You're able to analyse and solve problems and influence decisions have strong IT skills, and have the ability to interpret and communicate financial results for budget holders.
