The Position
Are you an experienced commercial, client facing Finance Manager, with experience in Education? If so we need you.
We are currently looking for a Finance Manager to join our team based at a client site in the North East. The purpose of the role is to deliver robust, proactive financial information and control service to the Sector Finance and Operating teams.
The role is to actively participate in the development of a ‘One Compass’ UK Finance function to continually improve service levels, cost effectiveness and to add value to all commercial activities.
The Person
The successful candidate will have the following skills/qualities:
Essential
- Fully qualified in ACA, CIMA, ACA (or equivalent).
- Experience within a commercial, client facing position.
- Ability to communicate oral and written information concisely and logically.
- Ability to analyse and evaluate information.
- Ability to effectively plan and organise own work.
- Good spreadsheet knowledge.
Desirable
- Knowledge of SAP, Cognos (in-house Compass Group system) and BPC.
