Job description

A Finance Manager is required to join a leading organisation based to the South of Nottingham. My client is a leading household name and a leading player in their field. Following a renegotiation of a pivotal contract my client is seeking to raise the bar in the Finance team with the recruitment of a talented & ambitious qualified Accountant (ideally CIMA) in the role of Finance Manager. As Finance Manager, you will lead a small site based Finance team responsible for reporting on the financial performance of this important contract. You will support Operational Managers with commercial financial information and also ensure adequate financial controls are in place and adhered to. You will develop financial KPI reporting models and will act as the interface between the end customer and the wider business in supporting commercial decision-making. Advanced communication & interpersonal skills are required in this role as is the ability to take financial information and translate into a meaningful format to be used by Operational Managers. Previous line management experience is also a key factor for this role.
