Job description

Capita IT Services is part of the Capita Group Plc and designs, implements, supports and operates IT infrastructures, networks, applications and processes. The Finance Manager role will support business units within a new business stream following a restructuring of the business. It will initially focus on supporting a key business with the potential to become involved in other areas as the New Business Model becomes increasingly embedded across the IT Services business. Responsible for Financial support and management information production within the business unit, specifically: production of monthly management accounts information using SAP and other legacy systems; forecasting on a rolling 12 month basis; supporting the Management team in the business planning (budgeting) process; management of deferred income and accruals; the support and supervision of Finance Assistants in their duties; providing financial and commercial support to stakeholders; challenging the business where appropriate; promoting strong financial control and cost control within the business; ensuring Group policies and procedures are followed; supporting finance initiatives - ad hoc analysis and project work; challenging the sales area and pipeline reporting.
