Job description
My client, a large rapidly expanding group based on the outskirts of Peterborough, is recruiting for a UK and International Finance Manager. The suitable candidate will: take responsibility for the financial reporting aspects of the International Group, including all aspects of UK financial reporting and regulatory reporting and year end external audit; produce international group consolidated reporting; develop and drive through improvements to balance sheet monitoring and reporting, including business unit balance sheets, control framework and exposures reporting; provide IFRS technical advise for the Group, provision of proactive technical accounting advice to business units in relation to compliance with accounting standards; support upcoming acquisitions and other projects. The above requires extensive liaison with the Business Unit Finance Managers/Senior Managers to develop a detailed understanding of each business, its commercial drivers and the impact that changes to P&L performance and the working capital cycle have on balance sheet accounts. It is expected the successful applicant will move on within the Group in 18-24 months. Applicants must be fully qualified ACA, ACCA Accountants and ideally have reached Manager grade if coming straight from Practice.
