Job description
Due to promotion, an excellent opportunity has arisen to join a fast-paced company in the Runcorn area. Managing the Finance team of a £20 million turnover business, you will be part of the Senior Management team and have considerable interaction and involvement with non-finance budget holders. As well as being responsible for the control of the company's financial operations, including monthly management accounts preparation, profit & loss, trail balance and balance sheet, monthly cash forecasts and cost control procedures. You will review the existing financial methods and procedures and propose improvements to increase efficiency within the department. To be successful in this role, you will be commercially astute with a proven success in Financial Management in the UK with experience of managing and mentoring a team. You will hold a relevant qualification either CIMA/ACCA/ACA and have excellent systems skills - in particular Excel. SAP experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
