Job description

We are a successful independent day school for girls located in Sevenoaks and are looking to appoint an experienced Accountant by 1 November 2010 to work closely with the Bursar and lead a small Finance team. You will be responsible for the overall financial management of the School and the financial control environment and will prepare monthly management and annual statutory financial accounts. The ideal candidate will be flexible, self-motivated and able to use initiative in the role; experience of the Education or Charity sectors would be beneficial but is not essential. This is a varied and interesting position requiring strong organisational and communication skills.
