Job description

Marc Daniels is currently recruiting on behalf of a large Technology Services organisation based in Slough for a Finance Manager. The purpose of the role is to be responsible for managing the monthly accounting processes and reporting, along with the audit, tax and financial compliance activities, as well as contributing to the development of policies, Practices and strategies of the Finance organisation. The Finance Manager will have full responsibility for the supervision of the Finance team located in the UK office, including ongoing management and conducting annual performance reviews. They are responsible for overall accounting, reporting and financial compliance for all EMEA entities. They will possess ownership of balance sheets, income statements and cash flow reports for all entities, as well as reviewing of monthly balance sheet reconciliation files for all EMEA entities. The Finance Manager will be working with the American Accounting Manager to complete global intercompany accounts reconciliation as well as other global activities and processes. Subsequently, they will also be required to work with the Operations and Client Management teams to provide additional reporting at various departmental/regional levels. Completion of reviews and distribution of various monthly financial reports, including scheduling and leading monthly financial close meetings with the Finance and Operations teams will be essential. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification within Accounting or Finance, with a relevant experience. The Finance Manager must have excellent organisation skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with knowledge of Sage AccPac accounting package.
