An exceptional opportunity to share in and support the success of the farming enterprises associated with Yeo Valley Organic. Business interests include agriculture, hospitality, conservation, property and family trusts.
The Position
- Work closely as a highly commercial colleague to support the Managing Director and family. Assist the team in raising the bar in operational performance.
- Produce timely management reports, budgets and statutory accounts supported by robust financial controls, systems and procedures.
- Undertake detailed financial analysis and cash flow forecasts on projects and ensure the businesses achieve optimal returns.
- Responsible for administration of the family trusts, working with external professionals to maximise ROI.
The Candidate:
- Commercially astute, hands-on qualified Accountant, preferably chartered, with post qualified experience.
- Ambitious, energetic and highly numerate with understanding of relevant tax legislation.
- Sound decision-maker, attention to detail, capable of meeting tight deadlines. Genuine commitment to performance and quality.
- Outstanding negotiator and communicator, with excellent organisational and leadership skills, combined with a collaborative approach.
