Job description
Based in South West London, our client, a Top 500 Law firm, seeks an experienced Finance Manager with proven leadership skills and a track record within the Legal sector. Applicants will be CCAB qualified, AAT qualified or qualified by experience. Working as a true number two in finance, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Finance team. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be the point of contact for the firms external service providers and the firms partners. We are looking for a focused and talented applicant that is able to deliver the highest quality information and is interested in developing their career within this growing law firm. Job role includes: responsibility of client and office accounts, ledgers and billing; overseeing and managing the annual audit and preparation of accounts; building and maintaining relationships with the firms external service providers and partners; producing regular management reports; month end and budget preparation; variance analysis and analysis of VAT returns; ensuring regulatory compliance with the solicitors' accounts rules and money laundering regulations; improving internal procedures and financial controls within the department; responsibility for recruiting, training and developing team members including performance management; previous experience of Elite accounting software is desirable but not essential.
