Job description

A fantastic new job opportunity exists with my Weybridge based client now seeking a part-time Finance Manager for 3 days a week. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for directing and overseeing all of the financial activities, including day-to-day bookkeeping, VAT returns, preparation of financial reports and forecasts for future growth. More specifically you will support the MD in bookkeeping for 5 business entities, provide advice and guidance on financial strategy as well as oversee all accounting procedures and systems used by the group. Working alongside the Managing Director you will develop and implement a 10 year transformational growth plan as well as ensuring that the group continues to develop and grow while assessing any risks within the current financial climate. The ideal candidate will have the following qualities: a qualification as a Chartered Accountant or equivalent experience; significant experience working at a high level in a financial role; be forward-thinking and have confidence in own ability; negotiation skills; be a creative yet strategic thinker; driven and highly organised.
