Job description
A global US listed Manufacturing organisation which supplies engineered electronic components, is currently looking for a Commercial Finance Reporting Manager based in Swindon. This position will be offered on a temporary to permanent basis initially covering for maternity and developing further to strengthen the UK Shared Service in preparation of future projects. You will manage a small team responsible for the monthly US GAAP financial reporting for the UK and Irish companies, using SAP and Hyperion; coordination and preparation of the annual budget for the UK and Irish companies; interaction with Internal and External Auditors. Key to the success of this position will be your ability to build strong relationships with a number of business units to ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting and ad hoc analysis as required. You will be a qualified hands-on Accountant, with a background within manufacturing and previous experience of using SAP or Oracle; strong analysis (Excel) skills would also be beneficial.
