Job description
I am currently recruiting for Finance Manager for a small arm of a large Public Sector organisation. . This role comes with a great deal of responsibility, as you will be the sole finance person on site. Your duties will be: to produce the accounting records of the business using a Sage Line 50 system; to produce monthly management accounts and budget variance reports; to produce the year end management accounts and to liaise with the Auditor regarding the audit and the production of the statutory accounts; to develop the annual budget; to reconcile all key accounts, investigating any differences or unexpected variances; self directed review to ensure accuracy of work detail; to compile payroll information; to prepare the quarterly VAT return; to assist in the development of new service budgets and contribute to growth activity; to be eligible for this role you must have worked in a similar role, ideally in a small business. Sage line-50 experience is essential for the role. AAT qualified candidates will be have a distinct advantage. This role is part-time (28 hours which are flexible to suit).
