Job description
The role: manage/maintain all aspects of General Ledger System including links with Sub-ledger/subsystems; ownership of local ledger financials as well as USD Oracle set of books; manage links to accounts receivable process, cash pools, web cash, and external bank accounts; responsible for preparing monthly trial balance and upload to Oracle; preparation of monthly reporting and analysis, operating review package and inventory analytics; prepare/input business plan (S2), annual budget (Operating Plan), quarterly forecast (Qtrly SRO); prepare/present monthly results review, S2, Op plan, Qtrly SRO reviews; responsible for preparing and submission of all monthly balance sheet reconciliations and back up; management of Finance department staff and their job responsibilities, delegate and manage as necessary; preparation of annual P11D, PSA for income tax; inventory Control, Obsolescence, FIFO, standards setting; liase with operations team to drive productivity; appropriate accountancy qualification with experience of all aspects of financial accounting to trial balance; ability to manage, and motivate staff; excellent organisational and time management skills; ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks; strong computer skills (MS Office applications Excel and Outlook, Web based applications and sub systems - Account reconciliation, TRM etc); experience of an integrated commercial system, (such as Oracle, Infoflo, etc).
