Job description
My client, a large-scale Property company, is looking to hire a Finance & Administration Manager on a maternity cover contract. This role is based in the Tunbridge Wells area and is envisaged as lasting for 9 months or longer, ideally starting by mid February. Key responsibilities of the Finance & Administration Manager will include: overseeing all accounting and office duties for a key business division; hands-on preparation of budgets from scratch; budget tracking and forecasting; full month end duties; managing one Finance Assistant and overseeing the Accounts Payable function. In order to apply for this role you must meet the following criteria: significant industry experience within a medium/large scale company; strong hands-on experience preparing budgets from scratch; familiar with forecasting cycles; experience with P&L, journals and bank reconciliations; understanding of transactional ledgers. The following experience will be highly desirable: staff supervisory experience; accounts payable/receivable background prior to experience; property or retail exposure; JD Edwards knowledge.
