Job description

Working for one of the most respected accounting and professional services organisations in the world, this organisation is looking for a Finance Manager to join its successful team. The team is responsible for management accounts as well as reporting and analysis of the costs of operations. The team also supports Project Managers working on projects across the business. Responsibilities include: oversight of IT project spend across Europe and in particularly in UK and Germany; direct involvement in preparation and responsibility over financial accounts for IT projects; regular attendance of department meetings; supporting IT Project Managers in providing information about actual spend as well as in preparing forecast and budgets; preparation of monthly project accruals; responsibility over consolidations and analysis for the business; coaching of less experienced staff. Ideally, you have experience working in a Finance department looking after IT project costing, spend etc. You will display a high level of drive, and show enthusiasm and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work. You’ll continuously learn from experience, seek out feedback and development opportunities, give clear directions and positive and constructive feedback, work in a respectful manner with colleagues, clients and the wider community, analyse problems, identify core issues and communicate with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent and clear.
