Job description
Our client, a major Financial Services organisation in West Yorkshire, requires a qualified Accountant to join the team in the capacity of Finance Manager. The successful applicant will work on an interim basis for up to a year and will support integration and modelling projects. You'll be an integral part of a team that provides financial and commercial support to the business to ensure that it achieves its commercial goals. You'll be involved in managing end to end projects, supporting the Head of Performance Management in building a strong finance unit, challenging and testing any financial models to ensure that they are technically accurate and contributing to the development, implementation and review of finance policies to support local business objectives. Ideally you'll be a qualified Accountant with experience in the Financial Services sector although qualified individuals with relevant experience gained within a large complex organisation will also be considered. You'll have excellent communication skills and strong Excel skills. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a fast moving blue chip business during an exciting time of change.
