Job description
Our client is a branded FMCG Manufacturer. An opportunity has arisen to join the businesses established Finance team, on a permanent basis in a newly created role. As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for key financial projects involving budgeting, forecasting, working capital, cash flow management and modelling. Experience of cross functional project management is essential to this role as the company adopt a business partnering model. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape the scope of this role, whilst also reacting to the businesses immediate needs and introducing new ways of working with the Commodities team. Experience of hedging mechanisms is desirable. It is essential that all applicants are CIMA qualified or equivalent; whose experience has been gained within FMCG/manufacturing sectors and also within cross-functional teams. Working effectively and collaboratively with stakeholders is key to success for this opportunity. Therefore, it is important that candidates have supported colleagues in a business partnering role previously. Essential skills and behaviours include the ability to influence and persuade others, as well as challenge colleagues and strong planning and prioritisation skills.
