Job description
An immediate opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Systems Analyst to join our client, a large telecoms organisation based in Slough. Key responsibilities of the Finance Systems Analyst job will include: ensure smooth running of systems on a day-to-day basis; design business process flows and document them; design, create and test new system functionality in response to internal customer requirements; be the super user for our ERP systems and provide training and support to the Finance and wider business community including report writing; provide routine and ad hoc reporting, as required; manage the month end system close; manage master data, maintenance, cleansing and migration thereof ie chart of accounts, cost centres, asset locations, PO's receipts, mismatches, approval tables, user rights and permissions etc; work collaboratively with internal and external partners ie IT team, external software suppliers. The ideal Finance Systems Analyst will possess the following attributes/skills: AAT qualified or part-qualified Accountant; previous ERP systems experience, ideally SAP, Microsoft Dynamics; Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Word; presentation skills; project management; eligible for security clearance.
