It now seeks to strengthen its Leadership team through the appointment of an experienced, Commercial and Finance Director, with a proven track record of leading businesses to enhanced performance and delivering a high quality service to internal and external clients. Happy to be hands-on, your involvement will be total, from dealing with the day-to-day, to appraising investment opportunities and funding. You can make a real contribution to the development of this business. Reporting to and working closely with the Group President and the UK Executive Director, specific responsibilities will include: the provision of insightful commercially-focused management information and analysis; advising Operational Managers on key commercial issues; budgeting and forecasting; cash flow forecasting and treasury management; together with the review and development of robust internal control processes.
A Chartered Accountant (though other recognised finance and business qualifications will be seriously considered), who can already demonstrate real successes as a Commercial and Finance Director, you will be pragmatic, analytical and results-orientated. Your business and communication skills will be first rate. Your keen eye for detail and flexible, sleeves rolled up approach will allow you to effectively move fluently from the everyday minutiae, to advising your Board colleagues on strategic decisions and being a key interface with the Group’s other subsidiary companies. A real understanding of the accounting impact of international business would be a distinct advantage.
