Job description
ABPM as experts in financial recruitment is assisting a global Retail and Distribution PLC in the identification of a Finance & IT Director. Joining a business with a footprint across the Nordic region, the role presents an excellent opportunity for a multilingual graduate qualified commercial finance professional to support the regional Managing Director in the delivery of the strategic objectives of the group. At a detailed level you will be responsible for: management: improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance and IT function across the region; finance business support: analyse and evaluate available financial and non-financial business information and discuss variances or anomalies; finance budgeting & forecasting: provide financial support to the MD and other participants in order to produce reliable and realising budgets and forecasts; financial accounting: ensure that closing procedures allow for timely and accurate reporting to Group Finance: group reporting & controlling; IT service: understand and set the direction of the IT strategy across the region.
