Job description
Eden Scott’s client, a market leader in its field, is looking to recruit an individual to work within the Edinburgh office in a permanent capacity. This is a new position which will sit within the Finance team, it will suit an individual who has a strong MI background with an understanding of financial reporting and experience in a financial environment. Responsibilities: preparation and delivery of timely, value adding analysis and management information to internal stakeholders; understand the importance of internal control processes to ensure the accuracy and quality of work; complex financial modelling to provide value-add support to the business and reporting requirements; ad hoc reporting and analysis for internal customers; flexibility in approach to the reporting process is key to ensure management are kept up-to-date with business performance and value adding KPIs; ensure processes and system capabilities are optimised and opportunities for improvement are identified; provide coaching to junior members of the team. Experience/background: part-qualified Accountant studying towards a professional qualification; excellent working knowledge of Excel and an ERP system to an advanced level; experience of building complex financial models; process driven, ability to analysis data and excellent attention to detail; excellent customer/client relationship skills Contact Sophie Paterson on phone or by email.
