Job description
An Environmental Charity is currently seeking a Finance and Office Administrator. Duties and responsibilities: to produce debtor invoices and mail to funders and Partners; ensuring all income is accounted for correctly; to produce monthly debtor statements; credit control and following up any outstanding debts; ensuring payment for debts in accordance with our payment terms; to receive authorised creditor invoices, ensure correctly coded and entering into Sage 200; payment of creditor invoices into in a timely fashion either by BACS or cheque; to perform bank reconciliations; to administer payroll amendments; preparation of annual accounts. The successful candidate will meet the following criteria: able to demonstrate a commitment to working in the Charity sector; educated to degree level; prior knowledge of Sage 200; competent in understanding, and reporting financial and management information; highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; a sound team player with a proven ability to manage, motivate and inspire a professional team; able to use initiative, be self-motivating, innovative. If you possess the necessary skills and passion in working for an environmental charity, then this is the role for you.
