The role of Financial Accountant is ideal for a qualified AAT or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA studier looking to progress their career within a leading market. Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant job will include: assist in the monthly preparation of management accounts; calculate accruals & prepayments; prepare the VAT return; assist with annual statutory accounts; ad hoc duties. The ideal Financial Accountant will possess the following attributes/skills: hold a minimum of AAT and be looking to progress with either ACCA/CIMA; have proven experience of working their way up through an accounts department; knowledge of double entry bookkeeping; strong Excel skills to include look up’s & pivot tables; a self-starter who is able to work to strict deadlines.
