Job description
Financial Accountant £40,000-£45,000 + Bonus + Benefits Berkshire. An FTSE 100 Telecommunications company is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant who is looking for a first career step into industry. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for: accurate and timely statutory and group financial reporting; production of UK and Europe statutory accounts; production of quarterly consolidation packs; contract reviews providing technical accounting advice; identifying and implementing improvements to financial processes. Working in a driven and goal orientated team, the Financial Accountant will have the following attributes: ACA qualified with a sound grasp of IFRS and UK GAAP accounting standards; experience of working with large companies (clients); decisive and confident, able to influence varied stake holders; track record of achievement whilst managing demanding work loads; proven ability to take ownership and initiate change. This is an excellent opportunity to understand how this constantly evolving FTSE 100 company operates from which you will be expected to progress with a view of becoming a Business Leader.
