Job description
Based outside of Birmingham City Centre, our client seeks a qualified Accountant to join them as Financial Accountant. Working for a large, international blue chip, this is the perfect stepping stone for a qualified candidate seeking their move out of practice or their move within industry. Responsible for a group of UK and international subsidiaries, the main responsibilities include: preparation, interpretation and delivery of the statutory accounts for a group of companies; preparation and review of detailed monthly results for the group; balance sheet review; working with external and internal stakeholders; ad hoc project work and management of a small team. The successful applicant is likely to be a qualified Chartered Accountant, trained within the Big 4 who is keen to develop their financial reporting skills within a large group environment.
