Job description
Hewitson Walker is currently working with a market leader based in Bristol which is looking to recruit a qualified Financial Accountant for a period of 4-5 months to cover maternity. Based in Bristol, this is an exciting opportunity to join the business. The role will take responsibility for the financial accounting disciplines for a number of businesses across the Group. Your main duties will consist of: preparing consolidation schedules; delivering accurate monthly accounts in line with timetable; managing the day-to-day fixed assets and banking operations; reporting on fixed assets and capital management; liaising with Auditors, Internal Business Partners and Advisors; ad hoc projects including balance sheet restructuring and KPI development. To be considered, you will be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with proven financial reporting experience and strong working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP. You will have an excellent technical background, good communication skills and advanced Excel and Word skills. The role has an immediate start and is available for a period of 4-5 months covering maternity.
