Job description
A forward-thinking Local Authority is seeking a Financial Accountant to assist it during the busy year end period. Your key responsibilities will be to assist the Finance function with year end accruals, prepayments, banking and monthly reconciliations. Other duties include maintaining cash flow forecasting and ensuring internal and external deadlines are met and you must possess a wide range of Excel and IT skills. The successful candidate will have the ability to work on their own initiative and to be considered for this role you must have previous experience working within Local Government.
