Job description

Working in the Head Office, your key responsibilities will include: assistance in preparation of six monthly reporting of consolidated European IFRS results - includes detailed analysis of results and disclosures with focus on more technical accounting issues and areas; preparation of statutory accounts (alongside Assistant Financial Accountant) for several LL entities, including the European Consolidated Group Accounts; ensure significant developments and contracts within the business unit are appropriately reflected in the accounting records and forecasts; monthly review of General Ledger and Project ledger and preparation of journals as necessary to ensure that accounting records are accurate; preparation (leading to review) of quarterly Partnership accounts. Requirements: qualified ACA/ACCA; excellent knowledge of IFRS; knowledge of UK GAAP; good knowledge of direct and indirect tax; experience in preparation of consolidated financial statements preferred; excellent financial accounting skills; excellent Excel skills; good interviewing/questioning skills to extract information from team members; financial analysis skills - ability to interpret and forecast financial out turns.
