Job description
This is a great role with a leading company in Derbyshire which has expanded their operation over the last few years. As a key member of the Finance department the Financial Accountant is responsible for management of a small Finance team. Your responsibilities will include: the production of annual and interim financial statements; dealing with the companies corporation tax and VAT; production of forecasts and treasury management. To be successful you will need to be a qualified ACA, ACCA Accountant with knowledge of statutory accounts and preferably a background from a chartered accountancy practice. If you have any knowledge of corporate finance or corporation tax or VAT it will provide you with an advantage. This role is varied in its duties and requires a candidate with an ability to communicate at different levels with non-financial staff and a strong knowledge of Excel. The company has a strong business model and a very good position in their market. They provide a good working environment and there are prospects to progress your career.
