Job description
Our client has a great role as Financial Accountant where you will be working on financial management reporting, budgeting, tax and treasury responsibilities. Main tasks include: cash and treasury management; assisting Financial Controller and senior management team re board reporting; updating systems; corporation tax adjustments; VAT. The successful person will also be expected to liaise fully with the Auditors. You may be currently in a practice firm working on the statutory accounts for medium and large sized businesses. Looking for your move into industry or you may have made a move into industry and be looking for your next step. You must be ACA qualified. Strong technical financial accounting/financial reporting skills are required and ideally exposure to IFRS. This is a prominent position in the business and the successful candidate will be able to add value to their existing experience by working for and being recognised by a super management team and board in a recognised branded business. Strong IT experience desirable including Excel together with experience of financial reporting/consolidation software.
