You’ll be responsible for HIE Group Accounts, preparing and coordinating the submission of draft accounts and working papers for inspection at annual audit and other reviews. This will also include day to day work, covering receipts and payments, bank and ledger reconciliations, statutory returns and will include management of staff and remote direction of other administrative staff to achieve planned work targets. Other duties involve financial servicing of subsidiary ventures, monitoring record keeping and participation in ad hoc work groups tasked with specific financial and/or reporting outcomes including responses to European Union auditors.
You’ll bring a recognised Accountancy qualification (CCAB), strong communication skills and a good working knowledge of UK GAAP and practical experience in maintaining standard audit evidence.
