Job description
Duties: preparation of statutory accounts across Europe in accordance with Local GAAP; assist tax department with preparation of tax returns; preparation of USA Tax Pack; assist in acquisitions entering the London Shared Service; assist other sectors outside the EMEA SSC with technical issues; liaise with external Auditors, European Advisors, Internal Auditors and CFOs of business units on financial and tax issues; complete a detailed monthly review of financial information for ledgers prepared by the operations department covering European entities; assist with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and testing; assist with the preparation, review and maintenance of local to USA GAAP transactions/balances; transfer pricing - investigating recharges between legal entities, and assist setting up intercompany agreements; statutory adjustments; to ensure Sun systems agree to local Statutory Accounts. In addition perform Retained Earnings reconciliations on Sun; booking of tax provisions and ensure corporation tax reconciliations are prepared for UK and Europe; undertake other ad hoc duties as required.
