Job description
This is a brilliant opportunity to work within a Manufacturing business based in picturesque surroundings in Central Gloucestershire. The client is looking for a capable, qualified Financial Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) to deliver accurate and timely reporting to strict deadlines and to drive and motivate the Accounts team. Reporting to the FD, the candidate will oversee the team, liaise with External and Internal Auditors to ensure robust processes and will have direct input into the budget/forecast process. The role will include month end duties, producing profit/loss and balance sheets to tight deadlines, the management of cash flow, the control of bank accounts and other ad hoc project work on an ongoing basis. You will be an effective and driven ‘No.2’ and may view this role as the next ‘step up’ in your long-term career goal. Experience of working within a manufacturing/engineering environment coupled with impeccable IT skills is desirable for this position.
