Job description
Ambridge Harris Associates is recruiting for a firm in Gloucestershire, which is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant. Main duties within this role include: preparation of monthly management accounts to Corporate deadlines; preparation of Statutory Financial Statements and assistance with audit; corporation tax computations; supervision of Purchase Ledger team and Banking team; process improvement for the above teams; completion of VAT returns and associated reports; fixed asset management; implementation and management of financial controls, and monitoring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley; other ad hoc duties as required. Therefore you will need to have experience of preparing management accounts and VAT returns. You will need to be a hard working, dedicated individual who is looking to join a progressive and growing company. It will be desirable, if you have gained some supervisory experience as well.
