Job description
ABPM is looking to assist our client: an established, successful and major employer within the North Yorkshire area. The business has identified the need to appoint a qualified, Chartered Accountant to the post of Financial Accountant, to join their head office team. The post would sit within their Financial Reporting team, but this unique role would cover the extensive preparation of accounts to both UK & US GAAP compliance standards, whilst taking responsibility for the coordination of Sarbanes-Oxley audits, tax analysis and ensuring the department are kept abreast of all relevant changes to standard accounting regulations. This, alongside assisting with a variety of ad hoc project activities, and reporting requirements. The business encourage progression and career development, and are seeking an ambitious individual, looking to enhance their career within a demanding, yet supportive environment, and extensive opportunities for progression will be available to the successful applicant moving forward, both within the UK and abroad if desired. You will be a qualified Accountant, with extensive experience within the Public Practice arena and a background, which comprehensively covers the above responsibilities.
