Job description
Due to internal promotion the position of a Financial Accountant has become available. The role will have a huge part to play in compliance with all statutory regulations including statutory accounts, VAT, Sarbanes-Oxley & PAYE reporting. Duties (but not limited to): control, review & coordinate the preparation of the test plans for Sarbanes-Oxley, coordinate the testing & report on exceptions; coordination of Sarbanes-Oxley audits with both internal audit & external audit; tax analysis & preparation of tax workbooks for submission to External Auditors & completion of Corporation tax returns; completion of internal tax packs & VAT return & EC Sales list; monitoring of changes to accounting standards & provide training to team members in relation to changes; payroll year end reporting. This would present an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant who is looking for their move into industry out of practice. You must hold a professional accountancy qualification, & ideally come from a Top 50 Practice. Experience of US GAAP reporting & Sarbanes-Oxley compliance would be a distinct advantage.
